Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Rome
After a meet and greet at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.
At 8:00 pm (7:00 pm in low season) transfer to the meeting point to take the Rome By Night Tour. Our local expert guide will lead you to discover the wonders of the Eternal City, charming by day & abolutely romantic by night. You will enjoy the whole center of this magic city in the moonlight during this panoramic mix of bus and walking tour. The tours ends in the Colosseum area. Return transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2: Countryside Visits of Assisi & Siena
Depart for Assisi, a tiny town in Umbria surrounded by walls built in the Middle Ages, famous for the Basillica of St. Francis. After Exploring Assisi at your own pace, board the bus for Siena, a Medieval town know for it's Palio horse race around the shell-shapped Piazza del Campo. Continue on to Florence, where you will check in to your hotel before dinner. B, D
Day 3: Florence Highlights With Pisa Option
Enjoy a relaxing drive to Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Visit the Duomo, Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistery with it's famous broze doors. Admire Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and Santa Croce defore spending an afternoon of leisure in Florence or opting for an excursion to Pisa for a tour the Square of Miracles, home to the famed Leaning Tower. Day 4: Bologna & Padua en Route To Venice
In Bologna, wander through seemingly endless elegant porticos, visiting Piazza del Nettuno, Piazza Maggiore, King Renzo and the Basilica of San Petronio, one of the biggest in the world. In the afternoon, continue to Padua & then Venice, renowned for it's canals and gondola boats. B, D
Day 5: Venice By Boat & On Foot
Jump aboard a water bus to the famous St. Mark's Square, where you will visit the cathedral, the plaza and Doge's Palace (exterior only), a symbol of the glory and authority of Venice. Nearby see the legendary Bridge of Sighs before stopping at a Murano glass factory. Spend the afternoon roaming along Venice's canals at your leisure. B
Day 6: A Tour of Tuscany
Depart for Tuscany, know for it's romantic churches, castles and wine. Proceed to Val di Chiana with a stop in Montepulciano, a medeval town known for it's "Nobile" wine and annual jazz festival. Enjoy an included lunch at a local restaurant. Spend the afernoon independently exploring Montepulciano before continuing to Rome. B, L
Day 7: The Best of Rome
Depart for a morning tour of the Vatican Museums, Raphael's Rooms and the Sistine Chapel with our exclusive "Skip The Line" access! Then pass through an exclusive entrance to St. Peter's Basicica, the biggest church in the world. After enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore Rome on your own. B
Day 8: Departure Day - Arrivederci!
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport. B
